April Shelton was born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi. She was blessed to grow up surrounded by loving parents and grandparents who made sure she knew the Lord and the importance of faith from an early age.

Music has always been one of her greatest joys — it’s how she connects with the world and with God. Whether she is listening, watching, or singing along, music fills her heart with peace and purpose.

In 2016, the Lord called her into the ministry, and she has been walking in His will ever since.

April graduated from Providence Learning Center with a degree in music, a milestone that deepened her passion for worship and service.

Outside of ministry, April's favorite moments are spent with her family. She's been married to her wonderful husband (Pastor Joey Shelton) for 18 years, and together they're raising three amazing kids. Her hobbies often revolve around whatever they’re into — softball, baseball, cheer, golf, dance, and volleyball — and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
